Wound Care Collaborative

Panelists Sara Schultz, MD, FACP, Rachel Neuschatz, MSN, RN, and Lydia Williams, MSN, FNP-BC, CWOCN from January 8th's Webinar, Caring for People with Xylazine-Associated Wounds: Recommendations and Lessons Learned from Wound Care Clinicians in Philadelphia joined to field questions during February 13th's Wound Care Collaborative. Discussion covered topics including characteristics of silver, connecting Veterans to benefits, and discussion about where to find wound care or Medication for Opioid Use Disorder. 


Wound Care Collaborative meetings are designed for wound care providers to network, discuss practice issues, and learn from each other.

This group meets every other month and is co-facilitated with Rachel Neuschatz, MSN, RN, who is a Harm Reduction Wound Care Field Nurse for the Division of Substance Use Prevention and Harm Reduction of the Philadelphia Department of Public Health.
