Understanding Drug Use

This training will offer health care teams an opportunity to learn from people with lived experience with drug use about their experiences of the local drug crisis.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about drugs that are commonly used and why, and how they impact patients’ lives.
Additionally, this program will describe how the practice of cultural humility in a clinical setting benefits patients’ care and the treatment of substance use disorders.
