Private Event: Perioperative Pain Management for MOUD Patients

This private training for Health Center 2, one of eight Philadelphia City health centers, offers an in-depth discussion on multimodal pain management strategies before and after surgery for patients receiving medication for opioid use disorder. Providers will explore the use of ibuprofen, gabapentin, and other approaches, as well as best practices for patients on long-acting injectable buprenorphine. The session will also emphasize effective communication with external providers, including surgical teams, to ensure coordinated care.
