In-person! Introduction to Buprenorphine Prescribing in Primary Care
Developed to support providers who are interested in prescribing buprenorphine.
Taking this training is appropriate for providers who have either taken the buprenorphine waiver training prior to 2022 or who have not yet begun treating patients for opioid use disorder.
This didactic training is the first part of a mini-residency program, followed by an individual on-site observation with an experienced faculty preceptor. In-person observation sessions must be scheduled a minimum of 6 weeks in advance by contacting Caroline Drob, Program Assistant. Sessions are available on a first come, first serve basis and are limited to providers seeking to practice in Philadelphia.
