Modified Application of Contingency Management in Medical Treatment of SUD

Increasing motivation for adherence to treatment regimens is a common concern for patients who need to change their health behaviors. The use of contingency management is one approach to improving patients' health outcomes by rewarding desired behavior. In this case, we will explore an adapted form of contingency management with a patient who is being treated for opioid use disorder with long acting injectable buprenorphine.
