Caroline Drob
Caroline comes to SURGE as an advocate for improving access to care. This stems from her background in bridging the gap to healthcare in her previous work as a medical case manager for people living with HIV. She believes that decreasing stigma around substance use will increase the access to medications for opioid use disorder, improve retention in care, and positively impact communities. As a current graduate student in the University of Pennsylvania’s Master of Public Health program, Caroline will continue to impact her community by focusing on policy and program development. Currently, her position with SURGE allows her to collaborate interdepartmentally to accredit programs for continuing education credits, engage with providers to assess training needs, and work with partner sites to facilitate precepting opportunities for providers.
