Debra D’Alessandro, MPH
Debra D’Alessandro has worked in a variety of capacities at Health Federation since 1994. Debra is responsible for capacity building and technical assistance to care providers and health systems regarding integrating diagnosis and treatment for HIV, HCV, substance use disorders, and other infectious diseases and public health issues, and serves as Regional Coordinator of the eastern Pennsylvania site of the MidAtlantic AIDS Education and Training Center.
She facilitates a number of regional multidisciplinary advisory panels and workgroups, including perinatal HIV prevention and discharge planning for county inmates with acute and chronic health conditions.and serves as the Director of Public Health Training and Technical Assistance at the Health Federation,
Previously, Debra worked in domestic violence legal aid, reproductive health access, and constituency services for LGBT Philadelphians. The common thread in her work is ensuring systems of care and their staff have the information and skills needed to improve individual and community health. In 2008, Debra earned her Master degree in Health Policy and Management at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health.
