Stimulant Use Disorder Symposium

We are excited to invite you to register for an upcoming symposium focused on the treatment of stimulant use disorders, presented by The Danya Institute, Opioid Response Network (ORN) HHS Region 3, and the Substance Use Response Guidance and Education (SURGE) Program of the Health Federation of Philadelphia.

This conference provides a unique opportunity to hear firsthand from the community and individuals with lived experience related to stimulant use disorder.  It will explore how stigma affects health equity for those using stimulants, highlighting personal stories of incarceration and biased healthcare experiences.  Attendees will also benefit from presentations by local epidemiologists and guest speaker,  Justin Alves, MSN, FNP-BC, ACRN, CNE.  Justin is a clinical nurse educator at Boston Medical Center's Grayken Center for Addiction Training and Technical Assistance.  His extensive expertise in substance and stimulant use disorders, infectious diseases, community outreach, and harm reduction will offer invaluable insights.
